Welcome to my little space full of big thoughts and lofty ideas.
When my husband and I purchased our house about a year ago, it was the first time since I left my parents’ house for college that I knew I would be living in a place for an indefinite amount of time. A new place I would call home. This sparked an idea that has been on my heart for a while, neighborism. (Not an actual word to my knowledge but that is what I identify my concept of community as.) I feel called, with the help of my husband to develop a (Christian) community right where we live. That is what this blog is (mostly) about.
I work a full-time job in higher education, a part-time gig in young adult ministry, my husband and I have been remodeling our first home, I am a crazy person who enjoys exercising (although my main motivation is so I can eat all the food I want), and if I stay up much past 11pm a switch is flipped and I instantly stop functioning. Somewhere between my daily activities and obligations, I will also share my life and my thoughts. Catholicism. Books. Married life. Food. Family. Anything that happens to be on my mind.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, feel free to say hi!
